Black screen on a channel.
A black screen on one channel is usually normal. Event channels only show a picture while an event is live. If many channels are black, use the checks below.
- Is it an event channel?
Pay-per-view and event channels are dark between events. That is expected.
- Try another channel
If other channels work, the issue is with that one channel. Tell us its name and we will check it.
- Change the player
In your app settings switch the video player or decoder, for example from hardware to software.
- Restart the app
Close the app fully and open it again, or restart the device.
- Many channels black?
Message us on WhatsApp. It may be a short server update we can move you around.
Why it happens.
Not every channel broadcasts all day. Event and pay-per-view channels only carry a picture while the event is live, so a black screen there is normal. When regular channels show black, the cause is usually the app's video player settings or a short server update on our side.
